The ARRIBA Program

I will be here in Lima, Peru until April 2008. I am living with a Peruvian Family and Cole - my room mate from Faith Baptist Bible College. The first few months we went through language school as well as different cultural, Bible, and missions classes. Now I am serving in a local church in a suburb of Lima called Manchay. The mission is the great Commission--bringing souls into the universal church of Christ and discipling them in the local church here in Manchay.

  • TO HAVE CONSISTANT PROGRESS IN LEARNING SPANISH
  • TO HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO WITNESS AND DISCIPLE
  • TO HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS

The Amazon Jungle of Peru

Our time is wrapping up here in Peru. We have exactly 3 weeks left. Tonight we are going to hop a flight to Iquitos—northern Peru in the jungle by the Amazon River.

For two weeks we will be visiting a few different villages holding special meetings each night, Bible clubs for the children, and training sessions for the ladies and men. Be in prayer for the guys as we will be leading the services and preaching several times each. Also, pray for special music, teaching the children, women, and men. Pray also for health. With different places, foods, etc . . . . There is always a fear of health issues. Pray for resistance and the strength to serve and minister to the people in the jungle here in Peru. I will get back Sunday the 13th. I will see many of you soon. God Bless you and your ministries.
